Inauguration of the M.Ed course
The Honorable Minister of State for External Affairs, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, inaugurated the M.Ed course at the BNV College of Teacher Education on the 25 th of July 2009. He emphasized that education is vital for India to prosper and become a global power. He applauded the efforts by the BNV Trust for imparting quality education and being instrumental in building highly qualified “teachers who teach the teachers”.
The M.Ed block was inaugurated by Shri. V.S. Shivakumar, DCC President. Shri. George Mercier, MLA was a key speaker at the event.
The event was presided over by Smt. M. Easwari Amma, Chairperson, BNV Trust.
